Hi All,
Was in Machine Mart picking up some bits for work the other day-what did I come across but the new Triton woodrack. looked pretty nifty (and had company credit card in hand..... ) so home it came!
Have a look at these pics- first one is of my "old" home made rack

Here's the Triton on the wall.

Look's pretty good huh? I know it's not the most interesting woody thing you could buy but it is useful. (and yeah, I could have welded one together for 1/4 the price, I know  )
Cheers,
Philly :D

Looks like those long ones are starting to bow, you'll have to re-visit.

Looks good, as usual no mentio n of price.

hi Waka,
Yes, those longer boards look like they are bowing-it's to make me get my butt into gear and make 'em into furniture.
Think I paid £45 for the rack.
Cheers,
Philly :D

While sorting out the workshop/garage recently I considered buying the Triton woodrack, but decided on the cheaper option of buying a Screwfix twin slot shelving system which works very well.

1400mm uprights cost £2.39 each and 370mm brackets are about £1 each. Total cost for a triton equivalent is around £16.80.

Quoted load capacity is 62kg per bracket.

Cheers.

David
