I've had a Triton MOF001 for a few months and been happy with it - until now. The fine adjuster mechanism has failed and I understand there's a nylon cog that strips.

Anyone have a email address for Triton? I've tried a couple through websites but had no response, is there a known working email address?

Thanks.

Have you tried backwards winding? My triton, once you'd raised it with the fine adjuster it needed to be fully backed off every once in a while.

Thanks, yes I've tried that but I can see and feel the cog/worm slipping and jumping as they take up pressure.

The nylon part has been changed for a brass one. The nylon one has a tendency to chew up(How do I know? :( ) If I remember correctly got the replacement (Part no. TRA378 ) from here:

Give them a ring to confirm

I found this guide by Argee (member here) invaluable :

Thanks very much for that John, and Argee for the excellent "how to", I'll phone Toolstream after the weekend.
