Hi all
If the 8mm of plunge that you lose with the Trend Unibase is important then there is a solution.
Those nice people at Leigh, distributed by Brimarc in the UK, produce adaptors to allow their guide bushes to be used with the Leigh jig. The adaptor transforms your jig into the Trend base configuration, allowing you to fit any standard Trend Base Configuration (TBC) guide bush.
IIRC, whilst not cheap, it's a bit less than a unibase and you don't lose the 8mm. The other advantage is that it doesn't change the outline of your router base. They are available for most routers including Festool, DW and Ryobi.
I have a list of the routers that it will fit. Just post here if you have a query.
Cheers
