Trend airshield

I have an Airshield mask which at the moment does not work. I has had heavy used on the farm whilst using a sawdust dispenser As I have access to a similar model the battery and the charger seem OK, this leaves the switch and contact assembly. The cost is £53.42. from Trend direct.
Has anyone else had a similar problem and is there an economical way to repair it.

No such thing as 'economical' where Trend spares are concerned. :/

I agree with Sawyer on Trend prices. However what price do you put on Lungs and Eyes. We spread an arctic load of sawdust in a season.

Cant you use a standard switch and bypass the original ?
