I'm about to treat an external potting bench made of rough sawn timber. I'll use wood Preserver and then an external oil.
The question I have is that where some of the slats are screwed together, particularly where two notches were cut out to fit around the legs, there are gaps between the two pieces.
I was wondering should I fill these in in some way before oiling? Or just drip plenty of wood preserver into this gap?
Thanks
