Hey All

Bonus - I’ll be travelling to a US state that’s tax free (Oregon), Im wondering what would you buy to take advantage of the strong GBP to USD?

thanks

For other hobbies, I've had photo accessories from Really Right Stuff, and a flashlight from "oveready.com" delivered to my hotel.
It's not about avoiding the tax, it's about saving on the shipping and getting hands on products that are US made, specialist, and either there is no distributor or they are adding massive markups.
Me, I'd go to one of their big "huntin n fishin" shops like BassPro just for a burger and the fun of it :)

It is many years since I visited, but I brought back a 12" Freud circular sawblade and a Makita cordless circular saw that was at the time unavailable in the UK. Pony Pipe clamp heads would be worth considering as they are expensive here, but they would be heavy.

thanks all. Pony clamps is a good one actually. Thinking also of woodpeckers stuff

One thing I do need is a trim outer - dewalt to be exact as I’ve already invested in their battery platform, that and Festool. I may have a look for that, but then it may not be worth with due to no warrantee when it’s bought from the US
