Transporting planer thicknesser

Can anyone advise if it is easy to remove the cast iron tables on the Axminster AT310 Planer Thicknesser to make it lighter for transport, and then how difficult it is to realign them on reassembly?

Usually set up can be very tedious so I'd avoid taking tables off unless you are really desperate. Don't forget NEVER lift a planer by the tables. Slot 4x2 timbers through the thicknesser and carry it sedan chair fashion
