Hi all
Watched Norm yesterday. He visited an old shaker woodworking shop - 1730's.
Forget traditional handtool construction, they had the biggest powered planer and thicknesser I have ever seen  about 7-8 foot long tables. The scroll saw and lathe were huge too
loads more - all powered from a waterwheel.
Power tools traditional? who'd have thought it
