Ok, ppl, here is this weekends challenge :twisted:

3 levels of workshop.

Budget , reasonable and Money no Object [I wish :? ]

The challenge is - what would you buy/make to fit in a workshop.

:p Only restriction is this SIZE OF WORKSHOP.

To make it interesting { I mean smaller then mine :p }

Length x width x height is this = 7m x 4m x 3m a bonus is
a 1m usable space around the perimeter ie uncovered space.
Building is of choice wood, stone, brick or logs if you want a backwoods hut LOL !

all anwsers on a 4 x 6 postcard to here :)

as an amature I can't really comment

But am interested in the replies as I will be building a workshop of similar dimensions later this year (i hope!). I will also be on a tight budget.

Now this could be interesting; that's almost exactly the size of my workshop...

Mine was settled and I was pretty happy with how it was, but everything was thrown into a state of flux with the introduction of the SCMS and a desire to move the workbench away from the wall. Now the old man wants his bench back (the rough bench in the north-west corner) and possibly the lathe will be going to his workshop too, while the workstation has already gone, so suddenly I have a storage and bench surface crisis and too many options. :? So if anyone wants to disregard theory and try their hand at a practical, I'm all ears. :roll: :D

Cheers, Alf
