Neil: It was a couple of things - HP - I didn't want an under powered one that would stall with larger bits eg 35/ 40mm forstners. Its wrongly specced in the catalogue and is in fact 3/4 HP. Plus the price which was very good. It also seemed better made than the lighter version.

Chris was remarkably restrained, only offering an "I think you should get it" and then a bit later "seems like a good price" and then a bit later "I don't think it'll stall with bigger bits".....

Pete: I paid £260. The manager was there when I went back to pick them up and he went a bit nuts at the guy who agreed the deal.

I only bought what I did (the larger stuff) if there were good deals. I had planned to get all of these things over the next year, for example the show deal for the Leigh was £70 off.
