Hi all,
I'm off again with my imagination!!
Now I've have new tools for wood working my tiny space hasn't and area to hang tools..
What I'm thinking, I hope u can uberstand lol
Getting a length of wood and it would just propped up on the bench and the wall.
Then I can nail or screw into the wood and hang the tools.
Not ideal and looking scruffy but it will be use for now!!
I'm going re sort the space on the bench and work out measure the wood needed..
I've looked on the net ready made racks etc.
Do u think it wise to just buy one or could I do the way I was thinking??
As u know thinking is not my strong point!, so any advice will be really great.
I'll try n take a pic of my bench and what I'm hoping to do...well when I tidy it up!!

Hi
Easy to understand but not sure about uberstand :D
Yeah that would be fine, tho I'd keep few extra packs of plasters around as sods law applies.
Easy enough to put something on the ends or even push over some cable wrap or aquarium air tubing or even good old tape right over length of nail/screw.
Or just drill the holes and buy/make the hooks separate.
Oh and 'propped up' No, (or at your peril) as above sods law. Fix it to wall or at least down the back of bench

Good luck

Haha!!
Just seen uberstand!! Bit like German but different! Lol
Yeah it's and odd one..I think I can buy a MDF or other board cut to size and secure that popping up at the bottom on the bench/desk.
And just screw onto the board my tools..
Making sure not heavy!
Then when I get the workshop build in the future I can get board to do it properly!
Think I'll ask Mick from this forum who lives near where to buy the board etc.
Thx again
