Because of a 'pending' insurance claim we have struggled to renew our home insurance, the only company who would insure our house class the garage (my workshop) as an outbuilding, and the maximum claim for anything in an outbuilding is £3000.
I need to insure my tools seperate from the house insurance, can anyone recommend a good insurance company?

Contact me sometime and we'll swap scary insurance stories!
I always try and insure everything with one company, Should this be possible in you're case.
Otherwise, NFU seem to be quite good down here in sunny Devon, suggest you give them a try.

Hi, i second nfu, best ins comp i've ever used. I had vans insured with them & 2 horses . good to deal with in the unfortunate times of having to make a claim.
