Tool identification

I went to the auction last week and bought a job lot and this was in the bag.
Any idea what it is- no rude jokes please!

A ring mandrel. Solder your strip or wire into a loop and tap it round on one of these. A jewellers tool. Ebay it if you have no use for it, they are not cheap to buy.

As above, I have one almost identical. They used to be really pricey but have come down a lot in recent years. Probably worth about a fiver.

They're nearly all Indian plasticine now. I have a draper anvil that I can leave a pattern in ... through sheet copper.
