I took a bit of a chance on an old tool cabinet today as the price was right and was pleasantly surprised when i arrived! It was advertised locally online as part of a bundle with a grainy, dimly lit photo and the workbench it was with was rotting through but the gentleman agree'd to sell this separately so i went to take a look any how; It was large, solid, joined by fishtails and it came home with me right quick; After a little TLC is will be going on the wall in the carving corner (y) I love having old things like this, that someone clearly put time and attention in to and it to make something that would last and it probably helped pay there wage for many many years; its an honor to have in that regard
My lovely assistant for size..

great find and good that it's gone to someone who'll use it for a similar purpose. ('upcycling' is better than landfill, but much better to respectfully re-use something like this that took a lot of work, skill, care many years ago)

do you have enough carving tools to fill the slots?
