It's annoying they put up an entire article then fail to mention which species to look out for. But I will try to watch the prog, anyway.

This program seems to refer to "Okoume" a pale mahogany type timber used a lot for veneer and plywood manufacture.

It's taken the BBC an hour and a half so far to tell us (and they're not done yet)... grrr.
