Sound about fair (certainly lower than dealer/eBay).

Have you "typed" it yet?

I bought a rather nice Millers Falls #55 ratchet screwdriver. It needs some cleanup, and the usual tip regrind.

As bought, it has one of the worst shapes I've ever seen on a screwdriver. It's not worn or damaged - some idiot made it this way.

It comes to a fully convex edge.

Not any more, it doesn't. :D

Hollow ground both sides on a hand cranked 3 1/2" wheel, then square the tip in
my favourite small screwdriver jig.

Drill a perpendicular hole in a piece of scrap wood, a close
sliding fit for the driver shaft. Hold wood in metal work vise, push driver up through hole with
left hand so it's flush, and rub oilstone slips over the scrap surface, whilst maintaining
upward pressure on driver with right hand. A beautifully ground square tip results.
