The first one looks like a 'tectool' for cutting grooves, I did have a pdf of the instructions I downloaded from somewhere when I was interested in getting one, I'll have a look later on,

Within their scope, yes, it works well and is easy to use.

In particular the (almost unique) mode of depth control, where a tilt gives more-or-less
cut is excellent, so I'm surprised it hasn't been used on other tools.

However, given a choice between my Record #044 and a Tek-tool, I'm keeping
the Record.

Sorted out the nail gun it was sized just twist and pull, now I need some ¼ inch blanks as the ones with it are damp

I have tried .22 and they are just too small and the ones that came with it are too big to fit into a .22
