To those who regularly measure up kitchen carcasses.....Is there some kind of fairly standard formula for working out number of sheets needed for carcasses or is it literally measuring each individual component and working what you can get out of a sheet? Now I think of it Perhaps I could utilise the new sketch up extension app that someone kindly recommended last week? (fantastic btw)

Depends on what sheets you are using.
Grain effect (or similar) can only be ripped one way, colours 2 ways.
I can't really help as I just order 20 sheets and reorder as we are running out.
I rough cut everything as 620 / 620 / 830 and find this works for me to make it a single man operation cutting up carcases.
If you are getting binto kitchens buy a decent edgebander, worth their weight in gold.
