Titman router cutters?

Hi

anyone tried Titman router bits?
I have found a local supplier and am condsidering using them as I am much happier buying over the counter rather than rely on post

Any advice appreciated with reagrd to these cutters

Tony,

Titman seem darned expensive to me but I have not used them so cannot answer your question directly.

However, I have found Wealden to be excellent (next day service) for postal delivery. The only trouble is that their range is more limited than some. I do like their cutters.

Titman used to (maybe still do?) actually make router cutters in England! Under their own name and for Trend. I believe Trend's are all imported now, I don't know if Titman still make their own or not. Used to be (still?) very good stuff

FWIW, I have one titman cutter I got on offer (I hate paying full price ) in Axminsters old shop.

I've only used it once so far and it was very good - a nice clean finish.

The local supplier has them at 30% off at the moment and so I ordered a couple for the leigh jig as posts suggest they may be good qulaity
