Hi Guys. I was due to meet with some of you tomorrow at the Timberman wood working exhibition but sadly I cannot go now, my grandson is coming out of hospital tomorrow morning and I am going to pick him up along with the family so its back to my place and if the poor little lad is up to it I will show him the wonders of wood turning.

I completely forgot about the show til i went there today 'cause i was in the area. It was quite busy and the car park was almost full. (tip: dont park by the recycling bins unless you want apple shaped dents all over your car!)
so i wont be there either, spent my money today

I thought it was last weekend, couldn't go as I had something else on.

Might go tomorrow as I've got nothing else on, haven't seen my mate Johno for ages, he usually demonstrates on one of the lathes.

Just arrived home, it was good to meet up with a few mates for a chat.

The 10% discount on Crown tools persuaded me to buy the Heavy scraper that's been on my list for a while. I'm going to grind a negative rake on it following a demo that I saw today.
