Hi All, thanks for letting me join.

This is my first post .

I have ventured in to woodworking during lockdown , looking for something constructive to do due to being furlough.

I started making very basic stuff like spice racks and garden planters out of scrap wood and any bits I could find in my garage.

I have now run out of wood and need to buy timber for new projects.
Where do you buy your new timber from ? Stuff like pine and hardwoods like Oak is what I am after. Timber yards or wickes BQ etc. Where is best value and is there a minimum order cost for timber yards??

Timber yards have a far better selection of wood than the sheds here is a thread covering uk timber yards hopefully there’s one close to you.
