Ian,

Of the woods on your list, I can only find the receipt for some cherry I bought 15 months ago. The price then was £53 per cu ft. for 32 mm boards and £61.8 per cu ft for 38mm boards.

My impression is that your prices are a good deal less than I normally pay - and I usually try to buy a minimum of 5 cuft and often 10 cu ft to take advantage of the breakpoints. I should say you are doing pretty well. Your prices are about 2/3 of my prices.

Ian, what are paying for regular 18mm MDF?

Judder,
These prices are for O/S (off saw)

Noel,
local merchants charge about £13-14 B&Q are £10.90 a sheet of 18mm mdf and around £9 for 12mm
our local B&Q also stock birch ply at £30 an 18mm sheet.,but its not a good quality finish as my local timber merchants but he charges £37 a sheet of 18mm
