Guys .

A customer has provided me with fancy black hinges and a Kirkpatrick thumb latch to be put on her new shed door.

The door opens outwards , so I haven't got the brain power to figure out how to fit it without having it work in reverse. ie thumb up to enter and tail down to exit.

Does anybody have a fix, or is there an outward opening thumb latch on the market?

You just fit it on the other side of the door (ie the outside). Here's my Suffolk latch on the outside of my outward opening loo door:

Thanks Mike, I've offered that option, or this one.

That option is just wrong! :)

There is only one option, and if she doesn't like it tell her that's the only way that a latch can possibly work. If she doesn't believe you, direct her here to this forum.

Going to do my level best to get to go for something like this.
