In our Summer 2005 catalogue we did reduce the price of carriage to N. Ireland from £14.95 to £9.95 for parcels up to 45kg. As of December 1st we are introducing a new packet post rate of £2.95 for goods weighing less than 2kg to all UK postcode addresses, naturally including NIreland & Scottish Islands.

Thanks for that Mark. Big improvement.

Noel.

We're having some real capacity issues keeping up with that one... we've really been caught off guard by how quickly it's taken off.

Rob, What else did you expect when it's been favourably reviewed here??
Yeah, and if it had an option on a narrow roller think how much higher the demand would have been...

Cheers, Alf

Pushing her luck, which is probably a better bet than pulling a boat trailer.

Funny you should say that... you should start checking your mailbox in a week or so... same goes for Mike and Derek.

Still waiting on parts for the skew setting jig though.... but maybe one could haul some interesting bits along for the tools2005 show....

Cheers -

Ah hah! And they said nagging wouldn't work (despite ample evidence to the contrary)...

Cheers, Alf

Who really needs to get a mailbox for the look of the thing. "Watch your doormat" doesn't have the same ring to it. :(

rob, thanks for the speedy responses to all the things we have asked.in this day and age it is nice to have manufacturers actually listen to customers.
i have said for many years that the problem with accountants is that they only deal in history, and to them a cash cow is a product not to develop, whilst a new product is a gamble on hic money should not be spent.
so how do you take the advantage of modern cash flow techniques yet still develop new and innovative products??? don't let the accountants have any power.

years ago when companies were started, we had "merchant bankers" and "bookkeepers", now we have *ankers and management accountants.
none of whom can run p*** ups in breweries, and none of whom take risks so it is nice to work with a company that does gamble, and produce nice products at a reasonable price, whilst listening to customers,
long may it continue. lets hope your family members never get too greedy and want to sell out for bundles of dosh.

paul
