In the eternally wet North
..to hear that in the offices attached to one of our courtrooms in the North West, they had put tinsel along the tops of the cubicle dividers.

Local Health and Safety officers instructed the staff to remove the tinsel as it was a health hazard.

Utterly, utterly speechless.

What? Was the tinsel made of lead? Or are they worried about it being a choking hazzard for the workers?
They're probably worried that, driven insane by the ever increasing number of internal health and safety missives, staff may seek to do away with themselves by making tinsel nooses. Or perhaps they're even more worried that the staff will turn the nooses on them (the health and safety people, that is) for banning the tinsel!
