Firstly, if you're a professional, you already know this - I'm not, and it was a shock when I actually realized
In my shed today I was idly thinking about another post here where people were talking about saw blades.
I purchased a new FTG blade from Doug at Cutting Solutons a while ago. It cost more than the £25'ish I normally pay, and after VAT and postage, more than I could easily pay without wincing!!
Putting one of Doug's professional blades up against one of the normal Freud or generic blades, it's easy to see where the money goes.
Doug's actually looks more like a milling blade that I'd use on a horizontal milling machine at work !
Definitely money well spent
