Incidentally, for anyone using these on a router table or for spindle moulder jigs. Don't screw the toggle clamp directly into an MDF base board, MDF won't take fastenings securely enough to deal with the forces that toggle clamps generate. Screw the toggle clamps into a block of wood, then screw from the other side of the MDF right through into the same block of wood.

I heard about a guy that lost an eye when an incorrectly mounted toggle clamp tore out of an MDF base board on a spindle moulder.

i have never been asked for import duty from Hong Kong, but technically it is probably due.

I would keep the value to under a tenner and you should be fine.

Bought a couple of these once, didn't check the sizes and they were too small to be of much use

as long as they hold 25 kg weight, all you have to do is adjust the clamping position. Might not have a 6" throw, but to stop a router fence from moving, ideal
