I have not posted much up lately, been mainly roughing out as the vast bulk of my timber is still fresh felled, but some of the wood obtained last August is coming dry now, so I thought I would share a couple of items.

This little goblet is made from Elder, the cup would have been bigger but once I started cutting into the cylinder to make the shape I noticed it was split, so I reduced to the point of unsplit wood.

This coloured vase in Ash sold very quickly, so didn't get much of an airing!

Real good piece of turning , stem on the goblet looks very well shaped and must have been cheek clenching , the vase is an excellent piece and color looks great . Well done . =D> =D>

Blimey, goblets great, really fine work & delicate looking, the Ash vase is a fantastic piece.

Both pieces are excellent - the proportions of the goblet are just right, in spite of you reducing the size of the cup section to avoid a split. I very much like the colouring on the vase as well.

Great stuff!!

That nerve turning on the goblet and the vase is just amazing thanks for showing us well done =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>
