I have only an occasional need for a thicknesser, is it possible to get a budget model that performs reasonably well? Do any of you have any (good) experiences of the cheaper models avalable. TIA.

Hi Guys

I bought this Titan machine and gotta say really happy with it.

It's pretty heavy so doesn't need to be bolted down.

The fence is a bit meh and there's a really anoying feature where you have to keep moving the dust extraction port to convert it from thicknessing to planing mode.

That aside it's a great machine for it's price. It's been really useful to me.
