I have just purchased a Freud 1/2" Router from Screwfix, and was surprised to find that it had a 1/4" collet instead of a sleeve to fit into the 1/2" one.
So maybe someone out there read Midnight's review!
This is my second router - I still have my Elu MOF96 600W, still going strong after nearly 25years. I've replaced the top roller bearing twice, but apart from that it has never let me down. If the Freud lasts as long I'll be well pleased! [/u]
