No not the missus but the other half of log from yesterdays piece :D
There was a lot more rot in this piece so had to lose 2" from the top rim where the pith was but still got a decent enough bowl size out.
Used CA glue on this one in the badly affected areas and once again got lucky with it working and getting a decent finish.
There was some woodworm holes in this one so it got zapped in the microwave for a few minutes,so checked yesterdays piece and that too had some so that has now got zapped. :lol:
This one is 11" x 3" finished with food safe.

Even though you lost a bit on the second one you still managed to get a nice bowl out of it, Good job they were a good size to start with.
 
Wow! They are absolutely beautiful!
The patterning is great and the first one almost has a glow in that first piccy.
 
Thanks folks,both were well worth the extra bit of effort i feel :D
Vic have a good day mooching through the timbers and put some extra air in the tyres :lol:
