The wing storage looks handy, not sure about the handle being on the front. Can any one think of a reason why they
would change the wood holding/locking system from that of a K4 and other pocket hole jigs? I like the way you set the depth collar on the K4, that's been replaced with a separate block. I reckon it needs a little less plastic and a bit more bling :)

If you're talking about having the handle on the front I imagine it is difficult to reach around a large panel to flip the clamp handle when it was on the back side whereas with one one you can position your panel and just flip the handle at the front.

ETA:

Hmm, I thought so. The Kreg K3 was the same.

Exclusive spring-loaded, front-sided clamping means no reaching around large panels. It puts everything in arm’s reach, and automatically compensates for small variations in stock thickness.

It looks like its evolved quite a bit. I'm forever making spacers for long panels so I like the wings (of course the spacers get lost between projects). Also the faff of adjusting the clamp is solved with that new gizmo. Bet its close to a £100 though when it hits the shops in the Autumn. Not sure I could justify that spend when I already have the older style that works fine if a little less finesse.
