I don't have power yet, but with building site power and my door built I can move.

Quite a job, the pile of tools is going to take some sorting!

A friend is bringing a tractor to move the heavy stuff.

Yes the floor is great, some kind of ultra smooth industrial concrete. The light is ok, however not that much but I have five 1.2m double fluorescents to help ;-)

However now the architect says that as the concrete walls go up into house and the space is unheated I may have to insulate inside. That's means insulation plus studs plus osb plus redoing electrics and repainting. Have to get the energy man to do a survey to confirm.

The door was unexpected work, when the saw arrived I needed to move so I can start on kitchen and lumping a hundred of metres of larch through my planer was quite a chore!

All equipment moved, now to sort it all out!

I didn't have space at the end to move my benches in, so a few late nights organising are in store.

Good luck, looks a good space.
Always a scary day when you have to start paying rent. After a while you think, "how did I exist without a workshop?"..

Not quite sure about the rent - but the mortgage gets scarier as we continue building!

My Euro camper commando adapter arrived now, so I can go get the table saw sorted to build some shelves, and then back to organising...

Here we are moving a few things in a friends tractor. There's only room for one in the cab, so going down those steep mountain bendy roads was like a free roller coaster.

Scream if you wanna go faster!

Yer sort of. It has one hell of a roll on it but I think it's actually quite stable. Not something I've ever seen in the uk I . Must admit.

Some semblance of order now. So nice to have vertical walls finally!
