I'm very impressed by the totes - how did you preserve/get the patinated look?

Wiped on shellac - blonde mainly, but garnet for the beech totes on the scrub. That and not cleaning them... :wink:

BTW are you going to hit 1000 this evening?

As for my budget, I'm putting aside, slowly, a wad of cash for nothing but hand tools :roll: . In total my budget will be around £300 for now, so hopefully I'll be able to buy some decent kit to feed my addiction, beats smoking anyday :wink:
