Is this guy for real? Or are his posts just a cunning attempt to get us to buy something?

Obviously, if he is on the level, I apologise unreservedly for casting aspersions, but there is something a bit fishy about the way that he posts, or is it just me......

I tried looking at his website, but it said that I didn't have authorisation????

Tom is well known on the Australian woodworking sites. He is a bit of an authority of templates I believe, even running a class for blind people helping them make things using templates to ensure the router is safely and securly held.
