Or that's what one of the customers from my ex-wifes pub had bought,and wanted it to be free-standing instead,and a triangle making for the half-sized balls.

Never done any spindle-turning that long before,so it was good practice.

Nice work, I've been thinking about doing some table legs and hope they turn out as nice as those, What wood are you using?

Thanks - it was only cheap pine,which wasn't great to work (damned knots..).
Would have been nice to use something better,but sometimes you only get the choice of what you get given :(

How do the legs attach? Have you used some of them double ended woodscrews? (They probably have a proper name).

Hi there,Lee - table already had captive nuts in it,so I checked the thread size (by comparing it with machine screws I already had) and used these dowel screws from Screwfix.
