You say you can't use a dado head on the saw. Why not put 2 saw blades on the saw(the same size)? Also could you get a ridgid table saw model 3612 in the UK localy?

Why not put 2 saw blades on the saw(the same size)?

The kerf on the blades would overlap, with obvious consequences.

speaking personally, the arbour on my uk table saw is`nt long enough to put two blades + the collar/washer + bolt

how would you achieve two blades on such a table saw?

Please let's not go too deep into the 'dado blade UK' discussion. I've heard it many times before.

In the UK alot of people don't appove of dado blades or even un-guarded saws.

I personally don't mind too much. But all I know is were not allowed to have dado blades on our saws. Alot of our saws are less powerful than yours in the USA ( ) And also they are deliberatley built to not accept dado blades.
