hi,
my table saw uses a t-track for the mitre guage but i want to make a panel cutter (thanks norm!! :p ) i can't find the actual metal anywhere and i cant take it off my mitre guage because i will need it and also it is fastened well on!!

so if anyone can guide me in the right direction as to where i can get it from i would appreciate it!

thanks

Tom

ps. if this fails it looks like ill have to use the router table to make it from some hardwood!

or thin plastic sheet - easy to cut to the width to fit the T then glue them together face to face until you get the height you want...

Axminster do a sliding mount that fits into a t-slot track, may do the trick

if you buy one check the sizes carefully - I've got 3 different slots on my various machines, all different sizes :)

Tom,
I made mine using thin strips of oak-any hardwood will do. This is Norm's method also. Give it a coat of wax and off you go!
Cheers,
Philly
