Managed a few hours at the lathe today and turned this Sycamore bowl/dish out,which had this lovely brown patch in it,and also some green lines which i haven't seen before in a wood?? which wasn't visible from the blank so was a nice surprise to find..
11-1/2" X 2".Finished with Lemon oil for now..

Very nice Paul, like it a lot.

I've got quite a lot of Sycamore with green stripes in, think it's how its been seasoned.
