Thanks to everyone for their answers. So to summarise what I have now learned:

1) Is a pipe bender insert
2) Is a trammel, but missing the second point
3) Is a Stud extractor
4) Is a Glass Cutter
5) Is a Continuity tester
6) Are micrometer setting gauges
7) Are bore gauge extension rods
8) Is something a smith would use
9) Is a rivet snap
10) No one knows!
11) Is a kick start from a motorbike

Now I know what they are I think they are not likely to be of use to me. So if anyone might find them useful please PM me otherwise I will pass them on to Tools for Self Reliance. In case you haven't heard of it Tools for Self Reliance is a charity that collects tools, reconditions them and ships them out to the third world to allow people to make a living. For tools they are not able to ship they sell in the UK to generate funds. I recently bought a nice Record 071 from them on eBay. Home - Tools For Self Reliance.

Best wishes,

Mark

Picture 11 isn't a kick-start, it's a gear change lever. You couldn't get a boot on it with any leverage.

The general shape and finish makes it older rather then newer, but I couldn't put a make to it.
