Stuck toolpost

Hello, I recently bought a myford ml7 that I am refurbishing, I've found that the tool post bolt just turns with the stud and on removing the slide I can see the the bottom part of the stud is also rotating. Does anyone have any ideas on how this could be removed?

drill a small hole from under the slide somewhere on the circle between the end of the toolpost stud and the topslide casting.
Insert the shank of the drill into that hole and unscrew the toolpost nut.

Can you push an allen key or something into the T-slot to jam the nut from spinning? Or is it round?

The myford toolpost does not use the t slot system. Hence my proposed solution
