I'm looking for a good quality stiff jigsaw blade for a DeWalt jigsaw. I've tried the T101-B Clean Cut but these are still quite flexible. Has anyone used one that's more stiff and less liable to wander when cutting thick (30mm) hardwood? I'm cutting straight lines with no curves. Thanks.

Dewalt make a really wide jigsaw blade for flush cutting, maybe they would do the trick? Never used one to be honest so not sure how they perform.

To be fair a jigsaw is the wrong tool tor the job the blade will wander in thick wood, a circular saw would be the ideal tool.

Thanks chaps. I've just called Axi about their festool blades and they agree with Disinterior, seemingly made purposely to be more rigid. Thanks for the replies, maybe Santa will bring me a TK55 for Christmas, until then I'll be jigsawing.

Some of the Festool blades might not fit within the guide rollers, just a little too thick. At least that's what I found. I was given a Festool blade to try on my Bosch GST 135 and it was just that little bit too big. I can't remember off hand which specific blade it was.
Bosch do some 'precision' blades which are supposedly more accurate and a bit stiffer.

That did cross my mind before I suggested the Festool blades, so I checked and the Festool blade does fit in my Millwaukee jigsaw so I assumed they would fit in a Bosch....?? It will depend on how wide the slot is in the guide roller.

From talking to Axi earlier and looking on the web, it seems I have two options:

Festool - Trion S75/4 FSG (£12 for 5 blades)
Bosch - Precision Wood T101DP

From what I can tell both are very stiff and well suited to cutting with a guide rail. Also both will fit in the rollers of my DeWalt DCS331. As I've bought two different types in the last week (which have both wandered) I will go for the Festool as this has the better reviews.

I've got one of the last GST135's made before they changed the model over, and I've never been able to get a decent cut with it. I thought I'd try the festool blades as they are indeed thicker, slight problem is they won't fit in the guide groove on the thrust bearing on the GST135!! I ran one anyway just to see what happened and it didn't do the blade any favours, but they are definitely a lot better, but you can't really use them with the Bosch jigsaw :-(

I tried a carvex out a couple of yrs ago at the D&M tools show and was surprised how square it cut, but I think my next buy will be the mafell P1CC, that seems to be the holy grail of jigsaws.....Santa are you listening?

I'd go with the bosch 101. Ive got a few packets of the Trion blades that I got with my jigsaw and freebies but the cut is cleaner and when your working on laminated board that's over £500 a sheet that's most important
