I afraid to report during my open workshop day there was a theft............ yes one whole cake was stolen.
Mr Maskery had informed us all the previous day as to how the cake was progressing and I was virtually salivating as he arrived with said item.
Absolutely spectacular was the general consensus of opinion, one or two thin slivers were consumed as testers and again conclusive proof was obtained that it did indeed taste as good as it looked, after a few murmurings and discussions it was decided that the longer the wait the better it would taste, so it was duly put to one side for later.
However, somehow right under our noses someone made off with it ............... in this day and age it's extremely disappointing to think nothing can be left unattended without it being stolen, I suppose it's the society we live in.
If anyone has any information regarding the missing cake please feel free to come forward with said information or an anonymous tip off will be treated in confidence.

Hmm, is there a clue do you think in the picture supplied? The shady character in my avatar has been known to take off with whole pounds of cheese, beef burgers and the like. Haven't a clue who his fence is though!

Well I'll be doggone who'd steal a cake ?
You need to get the copper's in to collar the thief.

I'm guessing there's a large, black cast-iron ball on the end of that chain. Do what they used to do to ne'er do wells and send him down here to the colonies.

I think there may be a lead to follow, maybe to late to catch the offender red pawed but not to late to be collared.

Wait long enough and the evidence is bound to show itself

If it was a chocolate cake the evidence might take a lot of deciphering, best of luck with that Bob. :-& :-&
