My 352 has just sawn this 4" thick square piece of greenheart into a (rough) circle for a friend, remarkably good finish. I used a 5/8" 3tpi blade from Ian.

I was pleasantly surprised having read on this forum how difficult this wood is to machine Trying to sand the top flat with a belt sander with 40G was more of a struggle!

Thanks for that link Mike, I bought my 352 from Tyzacks in Old St I think it was about 1980 450 quid at the time and it's done sterling service. I've resawn 8inches rosewood with it although it does struggle a bit and cuts out on and off with such thick cuts in hardwood but it will do it. I might put a slightly stronger motor on and check those guides out.
