I have for sale a Startrite 351E which I have owned from new, and has had very little use. It has a 14"/350mm throat.

It has a Kreg KMS7200 precision fence fitted, including micro adjuster, together these cost over £120.

But the original fence comes too.

It also has all the original mitre, circle tool, spanners etc. including the original push stick, sorry the photo is a bit blurred

It comes with 5 blades, including the one in it. Four of which are unused, two are from Tuffsaws and include an M42 blade, just the two blades cost 45 quid. The blade fitted has only recently come out of the packet and is a 3/8" x 6tpi skip. The two Startrite blades are still in the packet and are a 1/2" x 4tpi, and a 1/4" x 6tpi skip. The two unused tuffsaw blades are 1/2" - SuperTuff Premium Blade Length: 112” / 2845mm TPI 3/4 Vari-Tooth and 1/2" - M42 Wood Cutting - Blade Length: 112” / 2845mm - TPI: 3

Both bandsaw wheels are in good nick, as are the guides, still on the original blocks. I can take more pictures if you wish.

Reason for sale is that I have found that I need to do more resawing of bigger lumps so I have bought a Wadkin 20" BZW, a bit of a lump to get into the workshop but managed it.

I want £550 for it collected from Hebden Bridge/Todmorden area of West Yorkshire. One went for £660 quid 8th Feb on fleabay and was older, no after market fence and no spare brand new blades so I think it is a fair price.

Regards
Andy

" a bit of a lump to get into the workshop but managed it." Looking at photo, big square hole in floor, do you have a 1st floor workshop then? Intrigued.

It's above the barn, 20m x 6m, access at the far end is via about 4 or 5 steps, as the barn is built into a slope and it is only a single door so most big stuff comes through the floor.

Make it difficult for thieves to nick stuff but can be a pain to move stuff around.

Back to the plot, anybody want to buy the bandsaw?

Cheers
Andy

Been looking to upgrade to something similar - can I take up your offer - can collect after tues; I'm in the Pontefract area

Hi Fred

Yes, no problem, I will be around all day Friday if that helps? Send me a PM and I'll send over my details.

Cheers

So annoyed, the wife just sanctioned the spend, 1.5 hours too late, Fred55 hope you and your machine are happy together.

Richard

Still trying to PM you - Fri afternoon would be good - just to find how to PM my details without displaying to everyone - back on it tomorrow evening hopefully this Quick Reply is a PM

find it best not to tell them what you are spending on Richard , they cant say no then , ignorance is bliss and all that .
must admit that looked a cracking bandsaw Fred has got, good luck with the hunt for 1 similar Richard

I hear you loud and clear, but I have a wife who is lovely to look at but wired up a bit funny and found it better to let her think she controls the purse strings, that way I end up better off as the accumulated mass of the ad hoc purchases, should she look closely at them far outweigh any number of big outlays.

For clarity too, I wear the trousers in our house, my wife simply controls the colour, size and style I wear!!

Thank you Andy the saw is just what I wanted and is now installed in my workshop - Any takers for my Scheppach Basato 3h V! keep watching the sales section - will advertise soon, if no takers its off T fleabay.
