We have been o/hauling a relatives circular saw due to a presumed motor fault which ended up after inspection to be a fault within the isolator switch. However, the photos of the single phase motor connection details have been deleted so were at a bit of a loss as to the correct wiring details, the saw has a single capacitor with two leads as shown on the attached scan. All help gratefully accepted and appreciated.

Usual connections are:


L -> A1
N -> A2
Cap between A1 and Z1
Don’t forget the earth.

If that doesn’t work, you’ll need a multimeter to ohm out the wires.
