Just starting out as a hobby ..... First thing I will need and first build is a bench for the garage .... Would appreciate a good build plan ......

This one is easy cheap and solid. You could make one in a few hours with a handsaw and a cordless drill/driver.

Shop around for the wood, there's a balance between cheap and easy. Find a proper sawmill/lumber yard and then compare the price to B&Q (or other DIY warehouse shop place)
