Start rite

Hi all.

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with start rite table saws and weather or not the fence system on them is nice and accurate or just crap.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

I bought a startrite saw for my father. It is the only one I have seen in the flesh but it was a nice solid saw. I was in 2 minds whether to keep it for myself. Is was the smallest one- ts145 maybe?

Was the fence ok ? Was it accurate ?

Yes, rock solid. Locked nice and tight and wouldn't move at all when locked. Had a nice feeling if quality. The only downside, from memory, was that it was a long fence rather than short.

If my father wanted the space, I would probably sell my kity and have it back.

Cool stuff. I am just desperate for something with reliability and a really good fence. Do you happen to know anyone selling anything like that
