Start of a new project 3rd update

It's coming along. The two outside halves have been scalloped, not fully finished yet but they have a coat of sanding sealer. One side of the inside has been scalloped. I'm just plucking up the courage to do the other half now. The hard bit is transferring the scallop pattern from the outside to the inside so the pattern follows the outside curve exactly otherwise I'll go through when I hollow it out.

I've also decided to make a pair of them as I have got another piece of the log with the same butterfly shape that this one was cut from. I hope I can make a mirror image of the first one. Fourth pic shows them side by side.
