Hi all,
it looks like im going to be staining some office partitions that i will be making, the bottom panel is going to be veneeered mdf, 2200 by 700 approx,
when staining such a large area, how do i get the colour to stay consistent thoughout?
also, being such a big panel, instead of brushing it on, am i able to spray it? then rag poff the excess??
thanks all

Hi Matt

You should be able to spray most stains; our Spirit Stain will definitely spray very happily, depending on how much you put on you shouldn't have any excess to rag off.

If you want to brush, be mindful of how quickly the stains dry; ours dry very quickly which can catch you out if you're not prepared. The best way to apply these is to put lots on with a large brush, almost so much that you get puddles on the surface, then rag off the excess before it dries so that it doesn't dry patchy and you don't get overlaps.
